"Breaking an Unjust Law:  My Journey to Priesthood"

By Rev. Maryrose Petrizzo, RCWP
(Text from my presentation in October 2014)

Good evening, I am Maryrose Petrizzo and five months ago I was ordained a Roman Catholic Woman Priest.  Being a women priest is nothing new.  Breaking an unjust law is nothing new!  There have been many who have gone before us.  You as AAUW know well about breaking unjust laws and fighting for equality.  Now I would like to show you a four minute video to set the tone for all of this.  I think you will recognize some of the people in the video- there will be a quiz so pay attention:   Video:  RCWP- Standing on the Shoulders
